This is why. This is the reason for all the blogs, groups, debates, activist work, etc. This is why we do what we do. An entire Christian community in rural Mississippi runs a family out of town just for being atheists. CNN selects a panel of "experts" who are outwardly theistic... who then retaliate with expressions of "they [atheists] should just shut up". I find it extremely ironic that the 2 most ignorant loud-mouthed women in this group are themselves victims of minority oppression... yet they preach it. One is negro & a woman... the other is jewish & a woman. Whip 'em, hang 'em, gas 'em, or pay them 60 cents to every dollar a man makes, and their tune completely changes. Yet they both are committing the very acts of intolerance that many good men & women FOUGHT AND DIED to bring about racial & religious acceptance. How very Christian of them...
