Hey, I was pondering this as a possible idea... Darwin Day is coming up on February 12. The number 12 reminded me of the Christian concept of the 12 days of Christmas (Dec. 25 through the Epiphany on Jan. 6). Starting tomorrow we should start celebrating the 12 days of Darwin leading up to the big day of Darwin Day. Any ideas or suggestions as to how we should do this? Is this even a worthwhile idea? Also, I think that it might be an interesting idea for all Atheists and freethinkers on MySpace to change their profile display pictures on Darwin Day and perhaps a day or two before so that we all have the same exact picture. I don't have a picture in mind, perhaps someone else might suggest one. We could use a picture of Charles Darwin or just a text image that says "Darwin Day" or something similar. Anyway, these are some ideas that I'd like to toss around among all of you for further discussion and development.
